Christian Poems:

Xenophobia

Hold on to your ethnic diversity
Don't give in to this modern perversity
Hold on to your mysterious ways
Don't let them just fade away
Exposed and stripped bare
In the light of progress' day

Hold on to your unique traditions
Even your outdated conditions
Don't let them make you conform
To the homogenous norm
Where everything is gray and
Everything is just lukewarm

Don't let the xenophobes win
And lose sight of where you've been
And be convinced that the world is one
A cold mass of people under the sun
And everyone is the same
When their mindless day is done

You are the object of modernist fears
You are the voice that nobody hears
The ones who preserve the past
And want traditions to last
You won't submit to the lobotomy
So now you are the cultural outcasts

Let us cherish our differences now
World culture cleansing we cannot allow
For the sake of the xenophobes insecurity
They want global conformist purity
So everyone will be like them
In their materialistic immaturity
