There's too much to do each day

And none of it is at all clear
There are too many opinions
And too many disagree
There's too much government
And nobody is free
There's too much wasted money
And too many go without
There's too much disrespect
And too many holler and shout
There's too much needless excess
And focusing on the extreme
There are too many billboards
And TV commercials that scream
There are too many people who
Will never know of God's love
Too many focus on modern life
And not enough on the Lord above
Too many people take showers
Too many times a day
They can scrub their skin raw
But it won't wash their sins away
